Practice Administrator
Dr. Bloom’s practice administrator is Brenda Anderson. With many years of
experience in the medical field, her background includes work in Social
Services, Medical Assistance, Utilization Review as well as staff training
for a Dallas based HMO, and contract negotiations and marketing for the
Baylor Wellness and Executive Health Center. She also served as Surgery
Coordinator for a Craniofacial Surgical Team in the Dallas area, and
Practice Administrator to a number of other medical specialty groups
throughout her career.
Brenda is a native Dallasite and first worked with Dr. Bloom from 1978 to
1981 as his Office Manager. After a brief retirement to stay home with her
children, she continued her career in the medical field.
Her background also encompasses four years of volunteer service as Public
Relations Chairperson and Fundraising Special Projects Chairperson for the
National and International Craniofacial Foundations. She is past President
of the Practice Manager’s Association at Medical City Dallas Hospital and
served on the board of the Co-Op Committee at Medical City Ltd.
After many years of experience in various medical specialties, Brenda
returned to Dr. Bloom’s practice in 1998. When asked why she returned to
Dr. Bloom’s practice after so many years her response was immediate...

Brenda enjoys spending time with her husband, children, six granddaughters,
writing poetry, and entertaining friends and family.
Front Office Assistant
Photography Coordinator
Julie joined our practice in 2003. She received her Medical Assistant Certification in 1992 and has
14 years experience in both front office and the medical area in two busy OB/GYN offices. Her past training and service record is impeccable and we have found her to be the perfect person to assist our patients in the front office area of the practice.
Her medical background provides her with an understanding of the many questions our patients may have regarding their treatments or surgery.
With past experience owning a small business, Julie has a great rapport with our patients regarding their financial concerns and is always ready to be of assistance or answer questions.
Julie has studied photography under one of the leading medical photographers in the country and coordinates photography for our patients both pre and post operatively.
Coupled with her friendly caring personality, Julie’s medical experience, business background, and photography skills, make her the ideal person to work assist our patients in many areas of the practice.

Spa Coordinator
Ruth Mowell joined our practice in May 2007. Prior to joining Dr. Bloom’s practice she worked in the education field for 9 years. During her time in education she worked with Special Needs children and the Special Olympics program where she assisted with programs, classes, and events.
Ruthie came to our practice to serve as our Spa Coordinator. She works with our spa patients assisting them with appointment scheduling, photography, and preparations for treatments and services. She also assists with appointment scheduling, front office assignments and photography for surgical patients. Ruth is bilingual and that is a great asset for our Spanish speaking patients.
We are pleased to introduce Ruthie to our patients and know they will enjoy getting to know her as they come in for their spa visits.
Patient Care Coordinator
Jana joined our practice in 2006 to serve as our Patient Care Coordinator. She assists our patients with surgery scheduling, front office services, and provides information both before and after our patients’ surgical procedures. She works personally with each patient to insure that their consultation experience, surgery scheduling, and completion of their surgical procedure provides them with a comfortable pleasant transition.
After receiving her certification as a cosmetologist, Jana owned her own salon from 1988 to 1991. This experience in customer service in a cosmetic salon provided Jana with a background that serves our patients well.
Jana later pursued a career in the medical/dental field and became certified as a medical assistant. She has spent the last 12 years as head dental assistant for a busy practice in Rockwall where she assisted the dentist with all patient procedures and services.
Jana is a great asset to our practice. Our patients get to know her and feel comfortable calling on her with their questions or concerns throughout their surgical experience. She treats all of our patients with great care and concern, and we are very fortunate to have her as part of our team.
Front Office Coordinator
Bertha Hannon joined our practice in 2007 to serve as our Front Office Coordinator. Before joining our practice Bertha spent the previous 12 years associated with a dental practice where she handled direct patient care as a dental assistant as well as handled many front office responsibilities. She serves our patients in coordinating their appointments, financial questions, accounts, and any other needs they have pre or post operatively.
Being bi-lingual, she is able to better assist our Spanish speaking patients. Our patients have come to love Bertha’s friendly caring personality. We are fortunate to have Bertha with our practice.
