Practice Administrator
Dr. Bloom’s practice administrator is Brenda Anderson. With 30 years of experience in the medical field, her background includes work in Social Services, Medical Assistance, Utilization Review for a Dallas based HMO, and Marketing for the Baylor Wellness and Executive Health Center. She also served as Surgery and Scheduling Coordinator for a Craniofacial Surgical Team of multi-specialty physicians in the Dallas area, and Practice Administrator to a number of other medical specialty groups throughout her career.
Brenda is a native of Dallas and first worked with Dr. Bloom from 1978 to
1981 as his Office Manager. After a brief retirement to stay home with her
children, she continued her career in the medical field and returned to Dr. Bloom's practice in 1998 as his practice administrator.
Her background also encompasses four years of volunteer service as Public
Relations Chairperson and Fundraising Special Projects Chairperson for the
National and International Craniofacial Foundations. She is past President
of the Practice Manager's Association at Medical City Dallas Hospital and
served on the board of the Co-Op Committee at Medical City Ltd.
Brenda enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren,
writing, and entertaining friends and family.
Front Office Assistant
Photography Coordinator
Julie joined our practice in 2003. She received her Medical Assistant Certification in 1992 and has 16 years experience in both the medical and front office areas of the practices she has been associated with. Her past training and service record is impeccable and we have found her to be the perfect person to assist our patients.
Her medical background provides her with an understanding of the many questions our patients may have regarding their treatments or surgery.
With past experience owning a small business, Julie has a great rapport with our patients regarding their financial concerns and is always ready to be of assistance or answer questions.
Julie has studied photography under one of the leading medical photographers in the country and coordinates photography for our patients both pre and post operatively.
Coupled with her friendly caring personality, Julie's medical experience, business background, and photography skills, make her the ideal person to assist our patients in many areas of the practice.
Front Office Coordinator
Bertha Hannon joined our practice in 2007 to serve as our Front Office Coordinator. Before joining our practice Bertha spent the previous 12 years associated with a dental practice where she handled direct patient care as a dental assistant as well as handled many front office responsibilities. She serves our patients in coordinating their appointments, financial questions, accounts, and any other needs they have pre or post operatively.
Being bi-lingual, she is able to better assist our Spanish speaking patients. Our patients have come to love Bertha’s friendly caring personality. We are fortunate to have Bertha with our practice.
Front Office Coordinator
We would like to introduce Tabitha Garcia as our Front Office Coordinator.
Tabitha has a background in the medical field working in family practice and has spent the past two years running the front office of a busy spa and salon.
Prior to pursing her professional career Tabitha was happily busy at home with her husband and two young daughters. She enjoys serving in her church as a youth leader and time with her family.
Tabitha looks forward to assisting our patients with any needs they may have from the time they call throughout their surgical or spa experiences in our practice. We are very fortunate to have her as part of our staff. She is one of the friendly voices you will hear when you contact our office.
